A selection of classic skateboard photographs by Wig Worland will be on display at the "Out of Stock" exhibition at the Stolenspace Gallery in East London.

Three framed one off prints will be on sale at the gallery, with the proceeds donated to Kids Company, a South London charity helping vulnerable inner city children.

James Hudson's photographs of the Brompton World Championships in 2009 are being exhibited at Blenheim Palace from now until December 2011. The exhibition is in the Butterfly House and a Parks and Gardens ticket needs to be purchased to view the exhibition.

Wig Worland recently undertook the challenge of the 600-km cycle route from Chepstow to Bangor and back again through the highs of the Black Mountains and the higher highs of the Snowdonian Mountains. Also, taking in the breath taking Barmouth estuary and the incredible Elan Valley reservoirs.

Luckily Wig didn't have to ride it as well as apparently it was tiring enough driving the route in the Volvo.

This is part of a larger work that Wig is planning for 2011.

Wig Worland recently had the great pleasure in meeting premier league and international football star Clint Dempsey. The shoot was primarily to make a YouTube video viral for Dempsey in the Superfly Series. Look carefully for the stills that are used amongst the moving images.

Some of the shots are also being used to populate Dempsey's Facebook page.

An interesting article on UK national parks reveals that Wig Worland has finally been published by National Geographic.

Wig is represented in the US by Aurora Photos who placed one of his shots within the feature.

Wig Worland was invited to photograph the Olympic Velodrome which opens today, 22nd February 2011. The photographs will be used in IPC's Cycling Titles in the coming weeks and months.

Sir Chris Hoy, who won three cycling gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Games, said:

"The new velodrome is going to be the best in the world. I can't wait until I can compete on it...I couldn't fault it on any level...[it's] fantastic for the future of the sport".
